Your technique when layering your wax strip is what is going to ensure your success. The first step to get your wax strip perfect is your wax temperature: To prep your wax, put your wax beads into your Body Wax Club wax warmer and turn it all the way up. Let it melt fully and evenly then lower the temperature to medium once your wax is at a molasses or honey like consistency. You are good to go now.


- The Application -
Pick up a medium to large bulb of wax, depending on which area you’re working on and twirl it a couple of times to make sure it is not too thick or too runny. This is how you can tell :
When you pick it up and twirl it a couple of times you shouldn’t have any wax dripping off the applicator until 2 to 3 seconds afterwards.
Bring it over to the highest point of the skin area you are working on. Apply down in the direction of the hair growth with even pressure. Continue to apply evenly and once your spatula is close to running out of wax go ahead and turn your stick upward to create a lip with lighter pressure. The lip will help you get a better grip and remove the wax strip more efficiently.


- The Removal - 
Allow the wax to cool on your skin for 10 to 15 seconds. Hold the skin with one hand and with the other hand pull the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth in one quick motion and parallel to the skin.
Apply an after wax oil to remove any wax residue, baby oil would do, then nourish your skin with a  soothing gel like aloe Vera.
